Scenario
The LCP Group, a NY-based real estate investment management firm with deep domain expertise and an impressive track record in the hospitality sector, approached us with the opportunity to participate in a mezzanine position to help fund the completion of the Tapestry in Nashville’s buzzing SoBro District. Given the Borrower’s extensive experience in the hotel sector, globally recognized hotel brand, and the Property’s location in one of nation’s major commercial and entertainment hubs, this opportunity was a clear match for our debt platform.

When complete, the hotel will consist of an eleven-story building with 187 keys and garage parking for 102 cars. The hotel's main entrance will lead directly into a vestibule, which will open to the lobby and reception area, while the fifth floor will house the remainder of the public areas and the back-of-the-house space. The Property will feature a small street-level lobby and reception area, with adjacent leased retail space. The hotel’s restaurant and lounge will be located on the fifth floor, which will serve as the primary common area. The hotel will also offer an outdoor rooftop pool with sundeck and a fitness room.
